Mike Richardson
Richardson began his journey with Ennis ISD in March 2022 after being selected as the Chief of Police for the Ennis Independent School District.
Prior to coming to Ennis ISD, Richardson had been with Ferris ISD since 2019, serving as a Police Lieutenant. Prior to that, he was a Sergeant at Red Oak ISD, where he was named “Officer of the Year” in 2015 and district “Employee of the Year” in 2016.
Chief Richardson holds a Bachelor's Degree from Tarleton State University and a Master’s Degree from Lamar University. Along with his college education, he has extensive law enforcement training and certifications and is a training instructor on multiple levels.
Chief Richardson is excited to be part of Ennis ISD and looks forward to continuing to develop relationships with the community we serve.
