Navarro College at Waxahachie

      • Earn 12 college hours in welding and an industry-based certificate in Welding (AWS)

Academic

Navarro College

• • • Earn up to 60 college hours
    • Earn an associates degree in arts, science, or general studies

How to Apply and Register for Navarro College Dual Credit

New Dual Credit Students

START HERE - Instructions on how-to apply and enroll with Navarro

• By April 15, 2024 the following are due:
  • Navarro College Application (online via Apply Texas (New Website for Fall 2022)
    
    • If you don't have a Social Security number you can still apply, but you will need to get a form notarized by emailing eric.pierce@ennisisd.k12.tx.us to set-up a time to pick up an Affadavit form, or to request to have it emailed so you can print it. 
  • Once the ApplyTexas application is complete, a Welcome E-mail will be sent in 7-10 business days from Navarro College to the email provided in the application, so the following two forms can be completed online. The Welcome E-mail will contain the student's login information for the MyNC, the college self-service portal where the online registration form below is found. The parent permission form is emailed to the parent AFTER the student submit as his or her registration form. If you encounter problems with logging on to MyNC, call 1-800-NAVARRO and ask for the One Stop Service Desk. 
    • 1) Permit to Register Form

• Other Information:
  • After you complete the online registration form, your EHS counselor will review your selections to approve and send to the college. 
  • Once you receive a billing email from the college, you know the registration process has been completed, and payment must be made befoe the start of Spring 2022 classes.
    • Login to MyNC to see your college schedule.  If you don't see the correct course or a missing course, email your EHS Counselor. 
  • You must be TSI Accuplacer ready in order to take dual credit.  Study at AccuplacerPractice.org
    • Reading / Writing (required for all non-Math college classes)
    • Math (required only for Math college courses)
  • Making Payments to Navarro
    • 3 ways to pay:
      • Login into MyNC and click Payments AFTER you verify your schedule is correct in MyNC. 
      • Call 1-800-NAVARRO
      • Visit any Navarro College campus and see the cashier. 

Returning Dual Credit Students

• By Apil 15, 2024 go to the Navarro Self-Service login page, login, and click the menu button on the top left.  Scroll down the menu to Other, and scroll down to select Dual Credit. 
• Next, complete the Permit to Register form (online) 
  • If you make a mistake or forget to add a course on the registration form, you can't edit the form after submitting it. So, you will need to email your EHS Counselor to ask her to make the needed corrections.
