Title IX of the Education Amendments Act of 1972
The District prohibits discrimination, including harassment, against any student. Discrimination is defined as treating a student or group of students differently from similarly situated students on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender, national origin, age, disability, or any other basis prohibited by law. One type of harassment this policy prohibits is dating violence. Retaliation against anyone exercising their rights under this policy is a violation of District policy and is prohibited.

The Ennis ISD designates and authorizes the following person as the Title IX coordinator to be responsible for coordinating the district's efforts to comply with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, as amended, for students:
