I have my parent username and have reset my password. Where do I go to log in to Family Access?
You can access the Family Access login on the homepage of the EISD website.

I do not have a Family Access username. How do I get one?
Your username is created when you have updated your Skyward family profile with a personal email address. The best way to update your profile is by contacting or visiting your student's campus, or by emailing FamilyAccess@ennis.k12.tx.us.

I have used Parent Portal before. Why can't I log in now?
Parent Portal was used by Ennis ISD in the past to give parents the ability to access student information. We no longer use the program of Parent Portal, but we are using Skyward Family Access. Family Access is different from Student Access in that you are able to see more information than the student. If you have not logged in to Family Access with a parent username, you can contact your student's campus to add a parent email to the student's profile, or you can email FamilyAccess@ennis.k12.tx.us.

When trying to reset my password, I get a message that says "If a user account was associated with this username or email address, an email outlining steps to reset your password has been sent," but have not gotten an email.
First, please check your spam folder.
Otherwise, either the username or email was misspelled, or Family Access has not been set up. If you need to set up Family Access, you can contact your student's campus to add a parent email to the student's profile or you can email FamilyAccess@ennis.k12.tx.us.

I received the email with my username but it will not let me reset my password. It says the link is invalid/expired.
You can use the "Forgot Password/Username" link on the Family Access login screen. It will walk you through the steps of resetting your password.

I have logged in to Family Access but can only see grades and attendance. Why can't I see registration forms?
You will need a parent username/password to see the registration forms on Family Access. Student username/password access is set to see grades and attendance only.

How do I know which form I am supposed to fill out? (Enrollment vs. Registration)
If your student has NEVER attended any Ennis ISD campus, you will fill out the New Student Enrollment forms.
If your student completed the most recent school year at any Ennis ISD campus, you will fill out the Back to School Forms located in Family Access using the parent login.
If your student attended any Ennis ISD campus at any point in their education, you will need to fill out the paper forms that can be picked up from your student's campus.

How will I know my information has been submitted correctly?
New Student Enrollment
When you have completed your student's enrollment, you should see a message on your screen that says, "Thank you for enrolling your student in Ennis ISD. If you have questions regarding your enrollment, please contact the campus during office hours or email skyward@ennis.k12.tx.us."
Existing Student Registration
When you are finished updating and filling out all online forms, make sure you have clicked the "Submit" button on the final page. You should then see a message on your screen that says, "Thank you for completing and submitting your student's online registration for the upcoming school year. Your information has been submitted to the campus."
You will then have the option to return to the home page of your Family Access account. There you will see the tile for "Back to School Forms". This tile should now be blue and marked as "Submitted." If the tile has an orange bar, it has been started but not submitted. You will need to click on the tile again to finish the forms. Make sure you click "Submit" at the end.

I have submitted the registration forms successfully, what's next?
When you have successfully submitted the registration forms, you are ready for the school year! All Early Childhood, Elementary, Intermediate, and Junior High campuses will have Open House prior to the start of school.
Ennis High School will have schedule pick up prior to school starting also.

I submitted forms for my student but now I do not see the tile at all. Did my form go through?
When you submit your forms, you will see the tile has turned blue and shows "Submitted" with the date they were submitted. When the campus has approved the forms, the tile will no longer be visible in your Family Access. Congratulations! You have completed your back to school forms and are ready for Open House (K-8th grade) or schedule pick up (9th-12th grade).
