This may sound like a cliché but everything we do must be for the betterment of our children. As an administrator, I do believe it is my job to support and encourage our teachers so they can better instruct and improve the educational experience for their students. I believe as educators we should always be striving to improve our instructional practices and reach as many students as possible. One of the biggest challenges we face in public education is building partnerships with our parents and community members. Improving that team spirit with ALL of our stakeholders will only help provide a positive learning atmosphere and give our students the much needed support they require. Even though we face a number of challenges, Ennis ISD is a great place to be and we “Believe” our best days lie ahead.
Family:
I have been married to Dana for over 15 years. We have three fun kids; Jackson, Reid and Presley. We have a blast being together and spend a lot of our time involved in our church. The boys are into all sports and Presley loves Girl Scouts and gymnastics. In our spare time, we do our best to get outdoors, go to the lake, fish, take the boat out and play with our dog, Scruffy.
