Welcome to G. W. Carver Early Childhood Center and the 2023-2024 School Year! “Adventure Awaits” at Carver while we continue to ensure a safe, secure, and nurturing learning environment.  It will take all of us to provide our little adventurers with a quality educational journey! We are a dual language, early childhood campus that serves children and families in PK3, PK4, and Kindergarten. As a Title I campus, we offer 1:1 technology to all of our students. Carver staff also takes pride in providing our early learners with a wealth of hands-on experience in and out of the classroom. Our campus is equipped with a wonderful library, a computer lab, a full gymnasium, an outdoor learning area, and a motor lab, along with three different playgrounds. From the moment our students walk in the door, they are greeted, welcomed, and loved.

Adventurers will continue year six of PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) and follow the "Lion Pride Way" structure. Both of these character concepts will give students a real part of leadership, ownership in the building, positive behavior reinforcement and pride in the safety of the school. We are also setting our expectations high so that students will be good citizens at school and in the community.

Families, you are a vital component to the achievement and success of your children. We can’t do it without you. We need you to join the adventure too!  We look forward to parents working at home with their children, getting their kiddos to school and parents helping at school. Get involved! ¡Bienvenidos al Centro de Primera Infancia G. W. Carver y al año escolar 2023-2024! "Aventura Espera" en Carver mientras continuamos garantizando un entorno de aprendizaje seguro, protegido y enriquecedor. ¡Será necesario que todos nosotros proporcionemos a nuestros pequeños aventureros un viaje educativo de calidad! Somos un campus de educación temprana de dos idiomas que atiende a niños y familias en PK3, PK4 y jardín de infantes. Como campus de Título I, ofrecemos tecnología 1:1 a todos nuestros estudiantes. El personal de Carver también se enorgullece de brindarles a nuestros primeros alumnos una gran cantidad de experiencia práctica dentro y fuera del salón de clases. Nuestro campus está equipado con una biblioteca maravillosa, un laboratorio de computación, un gimnasio completo, una área de aprendizaje al aire libre y un laboratorio de motor, junto con tres patios de recreo diferentes. Desde el momento en que nuestros estudiantes entran por la puerta, son recibidos, bienvenidos y amados.

Los aventureros continuarán el sexto año de PBIS (Intervenciones y apoyos de comportamiento positivo) y seguirán la estructura "Lion Pride Way". Ambos conceptos de carácter les darán a los estudiantes una parte real de liderazgo, propiedad en el edificio, refuerzo de comportamiento positivo y orgullo por la seguridad de la escuela. También estamos estableciendo altas expectativas para que los estudiantes sean buenos ciudadanos en la escuela y en la comunidad.

Familias, ustedes son un componente vital para el logro y el éxito de sus hijos. No podemos hacerlo sin ti. ¡Necesitamos que tú también te unas a la aventura! Esperamos que los padres trabajen en casa con sus hijos, que lleven a sus hijos a la escuela y que los padres ayuden en la escuela. ¡Involucrarse! ¡Sea voluntario en la escuela visite nuestro PTO! Juntos podemos trabajar duro, mantenernos seguros y lograr nuestro objetivo principal de desarrollar habilidades tempranas de alfabetización y aritmética temprana, aprender letras, sonidos, números, colores y cómo resolver problemas y comunicarnos con los demás. Nos enorgullecemos de sentar una base sólida sobre la que puedan construir para un futuro brillante. ¡Con todos nosotros trabajando juntos: la escuela, el hogar y la comunidad, les brindamos a nuestros estudiantes el mejor comienzo en su viaje educativo!
