Philosophy of Education:

My philosophy of education is based on the solid premise that education is directly linked to a person’s quality of life. A sound education allows an individual to function in today’s society as a successful and contributing citizen. As teachers, it is up to us to provide students with the fundamental tools, skills, and knowledge necessary for gaining a higher level of education and flourishing in an insightful and rewarding career. It is also our responsibility to act as positive role models, instilling good morals and values within the classroom. I became an educator due to my passion for learning, mastering new skills, and the desire to pass these same characteristics on to our youth. I became an administrator so I may have an even greater impact on my students and their learning. It is my mission to ensure all students will be able to take care of themselves and succeed in today’s world. 

Family: I met my wife Lynda when we were in junior high. We have an amazing daughter: Hannah who is a junior this year in college. We love to spend time in the outdoors and Lynda and Hannah are my 2 favorite fishing buddies!!!
